2008 Events:

The FourthAnnual Business Forum will be held on March 22, 2008 at the Bayanihan Arts Center. This years event will focus on strategy and leadership and titled "Navigating the Path to Success". The topics will include leadership, using differentiation as a critical part of your marketing strategy, speed networking, and will be followed with our annual Entrepreneurial Success Panel. 2007 Events:

On November 14, 2007, AACC hosted a panel discussion on the report presented to President George W. Bush from the President's Advisory Commission on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. The presentation, titled "Enhancing the Economic Potential of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders", raised awareness of the trends amongst AAPI businesspersons. The presentation was presented by former commissioners Rudy Pamintuan and Joseph Melookaran.

The Third Annual Business Forum was held on March 17, 2007 at the Bayanihan Arts Center. The event focused on providing attendees with practical insight on "How To Do Business In India and China". The panels on India and China were followed with our annual Entrepreneurial Success Panel.

2006 Events:

The Second Annual Business Forum was held on March 4, 2006. The event focused on a Small Business Workshop with 6 different topics including 'The Power of Credit Scoring', 'Dealing with Difficult Employees', 'Fair Debt Collections', 'Hurrican / Emergency Preparedness', 'Liability, Tax, and your Business Entity', and 'Marketing & Strategic Selling'. The Entrepreneurial Success Panel included well recognized entrepreneurs including hotelier Dilip Kanji, contractor Leean Chung, real estate agent and mortgage broker Bruce Hoang, and software entrepreneur Karlu Rambhala. The panel was moderated by Victoria Lim. The event was featured a panel by members of President George W. Bush's Advisory Commission on Asian American Affairs.

2005 Events:

The 2005 Inaugural Business Forum was held on January 22, 2005. The event focused on Small Business Strategy. The workshop topics included 'Small Business Resources', 'Fair Pay Rules: The New DOL Rules for the FLSA', 'Tax Aspects of Legal Entities for Doing Business', 'What's New in Taxation for 2004 and 2005', 'Business Killers', 'Marketing and Visual Communications', and 'Media Access 101 for Small Businesses'. The entrepreneurial panel included health care entrepreneur Dr. Kiran Patel, restauranteur Cesar Heraldo, and engineer Ling Yu.
